PT Freeport Indonesia Deploying Comprehensive Evaluation
PT Freeport Indonesia held a thorough evaluation following the collapse of a tunnel in the area of the Big Gossan underground mining at Mile 74 district Tembagapura. Geological structure of the tunnel locations were reviewed.
"It must have been no geotechnical investigations at the site, prior to the construction of which began in 1997," said President Director of PT Freeport Indonesia, Rozik B Soetjipto when met reporters at Hotel Rimba Papua, on Saturday (05/18/2013) night.
